Not only did they see Bobby Witt Jr.'s little league homer take place, but they saw leadoff man Maikel Garcia keep his hitting streak alive. The 23-year-old wasted no time, taking a 3-2 fastball down the plate and by the diving first baseman for a single in the first inning. He set a new franchise record for the longest hit streak by a rookie, giving him 16 straight games with a knock.
