Detroit Tigers icon Miguel Cabrera continues to scale up MLB record books as he winds down his career. With a man on first base in the second inning, Cabrera took a fastball up in the zone and smacked it 438 feet to left-center field. It was the 509th home run of his illustrious career, tying him with former teammate Gary Sheffield for 26th on the all-time home run list. The 40-year-old’s shot was his longest since the 445-foot blast he hit on April 2021.
