Baltimore Orioles young star Gunnar Henderson came to hit in the eighth inning, needing a single to become the first rookie in franchise history to record a cycle. Instead, he laced a hit down the first-base line and reached second base for his 19th double of 2023. The 22-year-old became the youngest player (22 years and 52 days old) in Club history to collect four extra-base hits in the same game. He's the first player since David Wright in 2013 with two or more doubles, a triple, and homer in a single game.
