Jordan Wicks got the call to debut for the Chicago Cubs Saturday and did not disappoint. The left-handed hurler tossed five innings, allowing one run and punching out nine in the 10-6 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Wicks became the fourth pitcher in Cubs history, since 1901, to strikeout nine or more in his MLB debut. He was dialed in, retiring the last 15 batters he faced before being taken out.
