It’s been a terrific month for Seattle Mariners star Julio Rodríguez. From becoming the quickest Mariners player to reach 50 career home runs to collecting an eye-popping amount of hits within a three-game span, Rodríguez’s impressive plate vision is on full display in August. His single in the opening frame against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday was his 40th hit of the month. He became the second Mariners player ever to reach 40 or more hits and swipe 10 or more bases in the same month, joining Ichiro, who did it four times in his career.
