Baseball icon Justin Verlander continues to feel right at home since being re-acquired by the Houston Astros at the 2023 Trade Deadline. He entered Sunday’s game against the Detroit Tigers, his former Club, with a 3-1 record, 3.38 ERA, and 22 strikeouts since re-joining his current team. Verlander tossed five scoreless innings, allowing only two hits and punching out seven in a lopsided 17-4 win. The 40-year-old picked up his 100th win at Comerica Park to become the 36th pitcher to record as many wins at a single venue.
