The first-year shortstop added to his impressive campaign by powering a game-tying, three-run shot in the ninth inning at Comerica Park on Thursday. It was his 20th blast of the season, making him the first Yankees rookie ever to reach the 20-homer, 20-stolen base plateau, joining Bobby Witt Jr. (2022) and Nomar Garciaparra (1997) as the only other rookie shortstops in that respect.
