Minnesota Twins fans can start looking for their 2023 MLB Postseason gear as the team secured its ninth American League Central Division title with Friday's 8-6 win against the Angels. Pitcher Pablo López limited the damage to three runs over six innings to go along with seven punchouts. First baseman Alex Kirilloff broke a 3-3 tie in the sixth inning with a solo shot to right field. The Twins would tack on four more runs in the next set of frames to hand the ball to their closer Jhoan Duran in the ninth inning. Duran got the job done to record his 27th save of 2023.
