Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman has been the definition of a hitting machine throughout his career. Entering Friday night with 199 hits on the year, Freeman reached the 200-hit milestone for the first time in his career in the first inning of his Club's divisional bout against the San Francisco Giants. The 2020 National League MVP Award winner would pick up another hit in the eighth inning to bring his season total to 201, becoming the first player in MLB history, as a first baseman, to record a 20 homer, 20 steal, and 200 hit season.
