Junior Caminero

With a spot in the 2023 MLB Postseason already locked up, Tampa Bay Rays fans received another reason to cheer on Saturday when the Club’s number one prospect made his big-league debut. 20-year-old Junior Caminero was penciled in as the designated hitter to face off against the visiting Toronto Blue Jays and would be impactful in the 7-6 win. Caminero crossed the plate for the first time with Josh Lowe’s first-inning home run and notched his first career hit with a third-inning single.
