Clinched AL East Division

It’s been a smooth ride for the Baltimore Orioles in 2023. With a chance to secure their 100th win of the season and to lock up the American League East Division, outfielder Anthony Santander belted a solo blast to give his team a quick 1-0 lead in the first inning. Starting pitcher Dean Kremer was dialed in as well, punching out eight Boston Red Sox hitters across five and 1/3 innings of shutout Baseball. Tyler Wells recorded the final three outs to give the Orioles their first divisional crown since 2014.
