The Minnesota Twins were the next Club on the Wednesday slate to punch their ticket to the next round of the Postseason. Minnesota’s starting pitching and bullpen proved to be too much for the Toronto Blue Jays, allowing just one run across two games. Starters Pablo López and Sonny Gray gave the Twins efficient pitching in 10.2-combined innings, while receiving big hits from rookie infielder Royce Lewis and shortstop Carlos Correa. With the 2-0 win, the team clinched their first Postseason series victory since 2002.
