University of Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was selected with the first overall pick on the evening of April 27, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. The 21-year-old is a prolific passer with pinpoint accuracy. Young quickly took the mantle of starting QB as a sophomore and since then, the decorated passer became the only quarterback in school history to tally two 3,000-yard passing seasons and ranks second in passing yards (8,356) and touchdowns (80).
