On the evening of April 27, 2023, quarterback C.J. Stroud was selected as the 2nd overall pick in Kansas City, Missouri. Over the course of the 2022 season, the Ohio State quarterback collected an incredible 3,688 passing yards and 41 touchdowns, culminating in his consideration as one of the best players across the nation. Stroud's 2021 Rose Bowl appearance was legendary, breaking the all-time record for both passing yards and touchdowns with 573 and six, respectively.
