Gunnar Henderson

The Baltimore Orioles incredible turnaround this season was brought on in part by 2023 AL Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year Award winner Gunnar Henderson. The 22-year-old becomes the seventh player in Club history to secure the accolade and the first since Gregg Olson in 1989. In his first full season, Henderson recorded 28 homers, 82 RBI, 100 runs, and nine triples leading all AL rookies in those categories. His efforts played a major role in navigating things in the right direction for his team, helping the Orioles win the AL East Division crown.
