Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll’s astounding 2023 paid off in a big way on Monday night, by being awarded the NL Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year Award. The 23-year-old becomes the first player in franchise history to win the award. Carroll’s historic rookie campaign featured one that led all MLB rookies in runs (116), hits (161), triples (10), and NL rookies with 54 swipes. He also became the first rookie in history to record a season with 25 or more homers and 50 or more steals en route to a World Series appearance.
