Detroit Tigers second baseman Colt Keith was ready to hear his name called after seeing his skipper pencil him in on the Opening Day lineup. The team’s number four ranked prospect enjoyed his debut by picking up his first career MLB hit, a single to second base, in the fourth inning. It was a low-scoring affair, but his Club snuck out a 1-0 season-opening win against the Chicago White Sox.
