Shota Imanaga continued to break new ground in his rookie MLB season. The Chicago Cubs star pitched another dominant performance on Saturday, tossing seven scoreless innings and striking out seven. Imanaga's ERA now sits at 0.84, which is the lowest in a pitcher's first nine starts since earned runs became an official stat in 1913. The only player in League history to have an ERA under 1.00 in as many starts is former Cy Young Award-winner Fernando Valenzuela, who did so in 1981.
