Max Fried has been lights out to start his tenure with the New York Yankees. The Club’s prized offseason acquisition tossed seven shutout innings to earn a win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Fried’s six wins and five earned runs in his first seven starts are the best mark by a left handed starting pitcher since Fernando Valenzuela (1981).
