Katie Ledecky

The 2024 Olympic Summer Games was an incredible showcase of athleticism, sportsmanship and pride in one’s country. Very few, if any, displayed these qualities better than Katie Ledecky. Honored as one of Team USA’s flagbearers during the closing ceremonies, the 27-year-old swimmer added four more medals, including gold in both the Women’s 800m and 1500m Freestyle, bringing her Olympic career count to nine. Ledecky leaves Paris as the most decorated American woman in Olympic history - with 14 career medals dating back to 2012.
