The Oakland Athletics were arguably the most dominant team of the 1970s, winning three straight World Series from 1972-74. On Sunday, the franchise honored the 50th anniversary of the 1974 team's championship with a pregame reunion. One living legend on hand was Hall-of-Fame pitcher Rollie Fingers, who took home the World Series Most Valuable Player Award that year after posting a win and two saves to help wrap up the Club's three-peat. “We had a lot of fun here on this field,” said Fingers to the home crowd.
