The New York Mets have been really heating up as of late, and a special postgame performance by “Candelita” set Citi Field ablaze on Friday night. Candelita, better known as Mets second baseman Jose Iglesias, grabbed a microphone and took the field once more after the 7-2 win to sing his newest song for fans, entitled “OMG”. His Mets teammates surrounded him in support and eventually joined in the chorus. “That was a special moment,” Iglesias said after the performance.
