Cincinnati Reds young stud Elly De La Cruz put on a show in his Yankee Stadium debut on Tuesday. The shortstop wasn’t fazed by the bright lights of the Bronx, collecting his sixth triple and 15th homer of the season. De La Cruz’s performance not only helped pick up the 5-4 win but he joined elite company with the effort. The 22-year-old and Hall-of-Famer Ted Williams are the only players since 1901 to log five games with a longball and three-bagger within their first 185 career contests.
