In just his second career game, Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Leo Jiménez collected the first two hits of his career. Facing the Seattle Mariners, Toronto’s fifth-ranked prospect laced a single to center field in the second inning before another single in the seventh put him on base and in the middle of a Blue Jays rally. George Springer’s game-tying three-run homer plated Jiménez for his first career run scored, and Toronto would go on to win the game 5-4 in 10 innings.
