Even at the ripe age of 34, Salvador Perez can still rake. In the Kansas City Royals game against the Colorado Rockies, Perez went to work early, singling to shallow left field in the second inning. The hit marked the 1,500th of the eight-time MLB All-Star Game selection’s career. Perez would pick up another knock later in the game, moving him to 18th-most hits all-time by a catcher. His offense was welcomed by the Royals, who won the game 10-1.
