Boston Red Sox wins leader Brayan Bello came to work in Tuesday's win against the Oakland Athletics, 12-9. The Dominican Republic native had his pitching repertoire working, striking out a career-high 11 over five and 1/3 innings of work. Bello's career night also saw him tie the MLB record for the most consecutive strikeouts (10) to begin a game in the expansion era (1961). He joins Andrew Heaney (2023) and Aaron Nola (2021) as the only hurlers to reach that feat.
