A day after hearing his name chanted by the Yankee Stadium “Bleacher Creatures” for the first time, superstar Juan Soto was ready to show the fanbase what he’s made of. The 25-year-old collected his first knock at his new home ballpark, sneaking an RBI single to right field in the second inning. Working with an 8-2 lead, the Dominican Republic native ripped his second RBI hit four frames later to make it 9-2. What’s more, the Yankees would hang on to get their first home win, 9-8.
