Seth Lugo continued his career-best season on Sunday by notching a career first. The righty went the distance against the Chicago White Sox in a 4-1 home win, allowing one run on three hits with no walks and six strikeouts. It marked the 34-year-old’s first career complete game and the first by a Royals pitcher this season. Fans at Kauffman Stadium chanted Lugo’s name as he exited the field. “I had chills out there,” Lugo said. “The ‘Lugo’ chants, that was special. It’s something I won’t forget.”
