New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is known as “Mr. Smile,” and on Wednesday evening, he and his teammates had ample reason to be grinning from ear to ear. Lindor helped his team complete a four-game season sweep of the Subway Series against the rival New York Yankees by launching a pair of homers in a 12-3 rout at Yankee Stadium. What’s more, Lindor homered from both sides of the plate, hitting a two-run homer from the left side in the fifth inning before crushing a 432-foot three-run bomb from the right side in the eighth inning, completing his five-RBI night.
