To mark the recent 25th anniversary of his perfect game, the five-time MLB All-Star took to the bump to toss the ceremonial first pitch ahead of a Subway Series matchup between the New York Yankees and New York Mets. Reminiscent of that outing, the former Yankees and Mets hurler delivered a strike. Following the pitch, Cone was showered with applause by the New York faithful, a feeling that was surely familiar for the World Series champion.
