Cincinnati Reds starter Hunter Greene turned in another sterling performance on Saturday evening - and achieved a feat no Reds pitcher has in over 86 years. Greene's six shutout innings, where he struck out an impressive 11 Giants batters, extended his scoreless innings streak to 21. That's the longest mark for a Reds pitcher since Johnny Vander Meer in 1938 - who threw consecutive no-hitters in that stretch. "From the very beginning [he was] determined, pitched with emotion," manager David Bell remarked on Greene's outing.
