Two weeks after being called up from Triple-A, prospect Dillon Dingler is making his impact felt. The Detroit Tigers backstop logged his first career home run in Sunday’s game against the San Francisco Giants. The two-run homer came in the top of the second inning with his team trailing by one. Dingler’s shot would prove to be needed for the Tigers as they won 5-4. “It was cool,” Dingler said after the game. “It was very cool.”
