Cal Raleigh continues to cement himself as one of the best hitting catchers in Seattle Mariners history. The backstop’s two-run double in Tuesday’s game against the Oakland Athletics gave him 84 RBI on the season. With it, he passed his longtime mentor and current manager Dan Wilson in the franchise record books, and set a new Mariners benchmark for the most in a single season by a catcher. Wilson had set the previous mark of 83 RBI in 1996.
