It seems like Pittsburgh Pirates rookie sensation Paul Skenes makes headlines every time he takes the hill. The 22-year-old fireballer hurled six innings of one-run ball and tacked on nine punchouts in Pittsburgh's 3-2 win over the Miami Marlins. Skenes not only improved to 10-2 since his MLB debut, he also set the Pirates single-season rookie strikeout record with 143. The pitching wonder lowered his ERA to 2.10 and is making his case for the NL Rookie of the Year Award.
