It may have been Rhett Lowder’s first career road start, but the Cincinnati Reds young righty was unfazed. Lowder entered the win column for the first time in his MLB career by tossing five shutout innings to lead his team to a 3-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The Club’s number two-ranked prospect and seventh overall pick in last year’s MLB Draft has allowed just one run through his first three starts as a big leaguer.
