James Wood brought the power in the Washington Nationals 4-3 win over the Miami Marlins. Starting in the fifth inning with his team clinging to a 2-1 lead, the young star smashed a solo homer to center field. Later in the eighth, Wood would strike again, hitting his second solo homer of the contest. The showing would mark his first career multi-home run game. Wood also became the fifth player in Washington history to have a multi-homer game before turning 22.
