With his team trailing 5-1 in the fifth inning, Freeman kept the Dodgers rally going by smacking a two-run single into shallow center field. The knock put him in the history books, as his 12th RBI tied Bobby Richardson (1960) for most in a single World Series. Freeman’s timely hit helped the Dodgers win the game 7-6 and the series 4-1.
