Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani became the first reigning MVPs to go deep in the same inning when they each hit solo home runs in the first frame on June 11 at Dodger Stadium. Judge's blast came off Tony Gonsolin in the first, while Ohtani's was a two-run shot off Alex Vesia in the same inning. The historic moment marked the first time in MLB history that the previous season's MVPs homered in the same inning.
