Paul Skenes

Paul Skenes’ second consecutive MLB All-Star Game start made history on multiple levels. The honor made the righty the first ever to start the contest in each of his first two seasons. Then, Skenes logged the two fastest strikeouts by a starter in the Midsummer Classic under pitch tracking (2008) with rockets of of 99.7 mph and 100.3 mph in a clean opening frame.
