Salvador Perez

One of the all-time Kansas City Royals greats, Salvador Perez, furthered his place in the team’s history with a sixth-inning homer. Blasting his 137th longball at Kauffman Stadium, the 15-year veteran passed Royals legend George Brett for the most in that ballpark’s history. “That was super exciting,” Perez said after the 14-6 win. “I feel like Kauffman is my second home.”
