Facing Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski in the first inning, the third baseman pounced on a 102.3-mph heater, sending it over the right-center field wall for a solo shot and early lead. It would be the fastest pitch hit for a homer by a Reds player under pitch tracking (since 2008).
