Sal Stewart continued his breakout season with another standout performance for the Cincinnati Reds against the Chicago Cubs. The first baseman launched his 29th homer of the season and added an infield single for two RBI, reaching a Major League-leading 102 in the 10-8 win. Stewart passed Jim Greengrass (100 in 1953) for the most RBI by a Reds rookie in a single campaign.
