Daniel Palencia was fearless against Team USA, closing out the Americans to secure Venezuela's first World Baseball Classic title. Coming in with a narrow 3-2 lead in the ninth inning, the fireballer threw nothing but gas to toss a clean 1-2-3 frame. Picking up two strikeouts in the save, Palencia and Team Venezuela can crown themselves as 2026 tournament champions.
