Aaron Nola etched his name next to another Philadelphia Phillies great in a hard-fought battle against the Toronto Blue Jays. Punching out eight batters over five innings, Nola recorded the 2,000th strikeout of his MLB career with a 93-mile-per-hour sinker. He joined Steve Carlton as just the second Phillies pitcher to record 2,000 strikeouts.
