Eugenio Suárez

Cincinnati Reds veteran Eugenio Suárez secured a major personal milestone against Miami. The 35-year-old smacked an RBI double off Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara in the sixth frame for his 1,500th big-league hit. It proved to be a pivotal knock for his Club as well, as the Reds held on for a 1-0 victory. Suárez is the 19th Venezuelan-born player to log 1,500 MLB hits.
