Pete Alonso’s bat has been anything but cold this season. The Polar Bear achieved his sixth-straight 30-homer campaign with a go-ahead shot against the Tampa Bay Rays, recording his seventh such season through his first eight MLB campaigns. Alonso became just the fifth player to accomplish the feat, joining Albert Pujols, Mark Teixeira, Eddie Mathews, and Ralph Kiner.
