Edmundo Sosa

Two batters after Angels right fielder Wade Meckler robbed Bryson Stott of a game-tying three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning, Philadelphia called upon Edmundo Sosa with two outs and the bases loaded. The veteran's pinch-hit go-ahead grand slam led to a 5-3 win, and made Sosa the first Phillies player since Ozzie Virgil (1983) with such a blast in the ninth frame.
