Texas Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi reached a personal achievement in his squad's 3-2 victory over Seattle. Limiting the Mariners to just two runs over six innings, the 15-year veteran collected his 1,500th career strikeout. Finishing with seven on the night, Eovaldi became the 16th active MLB player to reach the threshold.
