Game 5 of the World Series saw Texas Rangers starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi go toe-to-toe with Arizona Diamondbacks ace Zac Gallen. With Gallen throwing a no-hitter through six innings, Eovaldi had his work cut out for him. The 33-year-old did that and more, tossing six scoreless frames with five punchouts heading into the seventh inning. Eovaldi's effort kept his Club in the game, leading to an eventual shoutout victory, 5-0, to win their first-ever World Series championship. With his win, the 12-year veteran becomes just the fourth hurler in history to win five games in a single Postseason.
