Pittsburgh Pirates top prospect Konnor Griffin returned to the lineup in style. Griffin’s blazing speed was on full display, running all the way around the bases from first on an extra base hit and avoiding the tag at home plate to score the run. This play would be the difference as the Pirates went on to defeat the Angels 1-0 in the series opener.
